Sugar has got to go in 2013

So you know I lost over 70 pounds and until my mother passed away 5 years ago, I had been the poster girl for maintenance.  I was still fanatic and I watched everything.  Most importantly, I have enjoyed my new life, I can walk more, I can climb hundreds of steps when I travel and I recognize that I am really successful in the scheme of weight loss sagas.

I am now up 23 pounds and eating badly for several months.  I am having trouble "snapping out of it."  Do you ever get to this point?

I think I am a better fanatic that I am a moderator.  Being on the liquid diet (Doctor's Answer) was easy, that was all I ate and my fear of a gall bladder attack kept me honest.  So, today, I have decided to let sugar go from my life for 1 week to see if I can break this bad new habit.

I will substitute a Satsuma Mandarin when I crave something sweet.

I will try and make this a new lesson, that has been said since the beginning of weight loss discussion, find something else to do, divert attention.

Okay, let's go for it.
